Proxim Wireless WiMAX

Proxim is a leader and early innovator in WiMAX and pre-WiMAX, a technology for providing high-speed, long-range broadband wireless distribution to metropolitan and rural markets, supporting data voice and video applications. In addition to WiMAX features including scheduled MAC (polling), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and Quality of Service (QoS), the MP.11 also supports subscriber roaming at speeds up to 120 mph or 200 km/hr.
