LightPointe FlightLite 100E
The FlightLite 100 and FlightLite 100E are LightPointe’s Enterprise Fast Ethernet solutions. Built on the
heritage and success of our original FlightLite product line, the FlightLite 100 and FlightLite 100E are
ideal for Enterprise environments and building-to-building connectivity.
For customers who currently lease copper access between buildings or who are considering costly fiber-
optic cable, the LightPointe solutions offer significantly higher bandwidth with full-duplex speeds and a
welcome end to recurring monthly fees. The FlightLite 100 and 100E provide attractive wireless bridging
solutions at higher data rates than competing unlicensed RF alternatives.
- Copper Interface – easily integrates into existing LANs. “Plug and Play” install with CAT5 cable.
- Power over Ethernet – product installation simplified with no need for costly electrical wiring runs
or new outlets.
- Fast Ethernet Speed – full-duplex 100Mbps speed is considerably faster than unlicensed RF alternatives.
- Immune to RF Interference – all LightPointe Optical Wireless products are free from radio frequency
interference and spectrum saturation issues.
- Lightweight, Compact Design – at 4.5kg (9.9 lbs), the FlightLite 100 and FlightLite 100E are lightweight,
powerful and simple to install.
- Robust Product Housing – weatherized, rugged and designed for outdoor installations in environments of -
30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F); heat shields are also available for hotter climates.
- Lens Cover Defroster – FlightLite 100 and FlightLite 100E include an internal heating element for low-
temperature climates and a lens cover defroster – among the only products in their class to offer the
additional features for cold, icy winter conditions.
- Class 1M – all LightPointe products are rated Class 1M, the international standard for eye-safety.
