EOD/IED defusing device to screw off right- or left threaded fuses, of coniform or cylindrical type, from explo-sive devices.

Technical Specifications

The defusing device permits to screw off fuses from explosive devices at a safe distance. It is utilized by armed forces primarily to render defusing of unexploded bombs, grenades and others. Police specialists can use the defusing device for defusing homemade explosive devices such as fire extinguishers or household gas cylinders,filled with explosives, provided their fuses are of a screw-in type.
To do so, the ZAG-1 is firmly attached to the fuse by means of jaw clamps and it set to into rotation by two electrically ignited propulsive charges.
The ZAG-1 was specially designed for bomb handlers.
