Extender Cards

To facilitate testing, alignment and maintenance for the MT-3 radio system, extender cards can be used to extend the individual modules out from the subrack. Extender kits (card and four foot cable) allow the modules to be extended out to a bench for servicing.

Channel Programmer

The Synthesizer Channel Programmer is a tool developed to permit bench and field programming of the MT-3 family of synthesized radios. An interconnect cable (Type F to DB-9) connects the front panel of the CP-SC-3 Synthesizer Channel Programmer to any free standing synthesized receiver or transmitter without disassembly.

The front panel is comprised of four push button switches (keys), two external connectors and a display window. The TX/RX DATA I/O DB-9 connector permits communication with any synthesized RF module (via Type F to DB-9 cable). The display window informs the user of the status of the programmer module. Each channel has a four character code number that corresponds to a certain frequency. Use the channel designation table in the back of the appropriate RF module manual to determine frequencies.

The A-PNL-SP-01 Base Station Speaker Panel is a 19" rack mount panel that is used in Daniels base stations. The speaker panel contains all the audio circuitry including the audio amplifier. This product is used to provide monitoring of up to five audio signals from equipment mounted inside the base station, or to monitor audio from an external source. Each audio input has separate adjustable gain controls to set desired audio levels before they go into the summing amplifier.
